Student Policy Brief Competition Now Live!

***Calling ALL Students ***  Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) has decided to host another Student Policy Brief competition at  the  12th Annual Canadian Agri-Food Policy Conference being held virtually January 18-20, 2022 This competition will involve writing a policy briefing note providing content and advice to the Minister of AAFC on a specific policy issue. The content and template for the briefing note will be provided via CAES website at https://caes-scae.ca/ by December 17th, 2021.

Please submit your briefing note by Monday January 10th, 2022 2:00 p.m. EST, to Jennifer.vignola@agr.gc.ca.

In order to be eligible to win the competition, students must be registered and present virtually at the conference to receive the prize. The winners will be informed prior to the conference.

First Prize $300.00 plus 4 months paid Contract at AAFC.

Second Prize $200.00 Cash.

*** Appel à TOUS les étudiants ***Agriculture et Agroalimentaire Canada (AAC) a décidé d’organiser un autre concours de rédaction de note pour les étudiants lors de la 12e conférence annuelle sur les politiques agricoles canadiennes qui se tiendra virtuellement du 18 au 20 janvier 2022. Ce concours comprendra la rédaction d’une note d’information dans le but de fournir au ministre d’AAC du contenu et des conseils sur une question de politique. Le contenu et le modèle de la note d’information seront fournis via le site web SCAE https://caes-scae.ca/ d’ici le 17 décembre 2021.

Veuillez soumettre votre note d’information au plus tard le 10 janvier 2022 à 14 h HNE à Jennifer.vignola@agr.gc.ca.

Pour être éligibles pour gagner le concours, les étudiants doivent être présents et enregistrés à la conférence pour recevoir le prix. Les gagnants seront informés avant la conférence.

Premier prix $300 plus un contrat de 4 mois à AAC

Deuxième prix $200 comptant
