New Research Associate(s) will primarily contribute to program evaluations. Evaluation involves the systematic assessment of the design, implementation or results of an initiative for the purposes of learning or decision-making. In support of these types of assessments, PRA designs and implements research processes that best suit clients’ needs and resources. These will often include a combination of quantitative (e.g. administrative data review or survey) and qualitative methods (e.g. key informant interviews, focus groups, literature and document reviews). PRA has been a key player in the Canadian evaluation community for over 30 years, with many of our researchers involved in the Canadian Evaluation Society at the national and local levels. For more information on evaluation and the Canadian Evaluation Society, please visit https://evaluationcanada.ca/.
Candidates must possess at least a Master’s degree in the social sciences, business, or public administration; or a law degree. The position requires superior analytical skills and high level oral and written communication skills in English and French, as well as strong interpersonal skills. Candidates’ capacity to understand, speak and write in both official languages will be tested throughout the application process through a written test and interview(s).
