Lead a team of economists to research and analyze micro and macroeconomic trends and the agriculture and agri-food industry in Canada, providing direction and economic intelligence to FCC’s business strategy.
This position is designated bilingual (English and French), and the successful candidate must be able to communicate in both of Canada’s official languages.
What you’ll do:
- Lead research to develop forecasts of current agriculture, economic and financial trends to create new business opportunities or further mitigate risks in existing business flows
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to update existing products and develop breakthrough solutions, corporate strategy and risk management
- Build and sustain relationships with a network of people, internally and externally
- Share knowledge with customers, customer-facing staff and industry stakeholders through a variety of communication channels

What you’ll need:
- Master’s degree in agriculture or economics and at least seven years of research experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
