Expertise of Canadian ag and agricultural lending practices rewarded

Oversee your team of Credit Managers as they navigate FCC credit risk policies through day-to-day, and complex lending situations. Give approvals and make intelligent decisions on some of FCC’s largest loans.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead a team of professional-level Credit Managers by providing expertise, direction and a consistent vision
  • Coach and develop new Credit Managers on your team, and collaborate with managers in Operations to help them coach their staff
  • Act as a resource for on policy, financial concepts and credit risk issues
  • Establish workload for your team and resolve conflicting priorities
  • Provide credit adjudication

What we’re looking for:

  • Experienced leader who brings out the best in team members and provides a clear line of sight to business goals
  • Multi-tasker who can ensure projects move forward under predetermined timelines
  • Team player with a proven ability to coach and mentor colleagues
  • Confidence making rational decisions and approvals on large FCC loans

What you’ll need:

  • Undergraduate degree in agricultural finance, business or commerce, supplemented by a professional accounting or risk management designation and at least seven years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
