CALL FOR POSTERS (CLOSED)
Researchers are invited to prepare posters around the theme of Agri-Environmental Policy and Programs for presentation at the 9th Annual Canadian Agri-Food Policy Conference.
Where: The poster competition will take place during the Wine & Cheese reception on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at the Château Laurier in Ottawa. Posters will be displayed for viewing in the French Corridor during the day before the reception.
Opportunities for Finalists: The top three finalists present their research in front of the audience for 3 min on Fri, Feb 15. The top presenter will win a trip to the 2019 CAES Annual Meeting in Ottawa from July 9-12, 2019. Cash prizes will be awarded to 2nd and 3rd place.
How to Submit: Abstracts should be submitted in Word format and include the title, name(s) and affiliation(s) of all author(s) and the supervisor(s) (if applicable) and indicate which author will be present. Email abstracts to email@example.com by January 7. Poster presenters must be registered for the conference by January 15.
Poster Preparation: Prepare posters for a non-academic audience. Focus on policy implications of your research. Abstracts will be distributed to conference attendees. Posters to be pinned up should no more than 4 feet high x 3 feet wide.
