The School of Environment and Sustainability (SENS) at the University of Saskatchewan invites applications from outstanding candidates for a full-time tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor as an Academic Programming Appointee (APA) in Community Energy and Environmental Planning. This position has an emphasis on teaching (including course delivery, project/placement coordination, community engagement), with the possibility of some research activities. The appointment is anticipated to begin on July 1, 2020. SENS is embarking on exciting new programs, including a suite of professional Masters programs (12-month project/placement based Masters, with an optional 4-month co-operative placement), including water security, energy security, food security, sustainable environmental management, and biocultural conservation. The successful candidate will have established themselves as a lead instructor in the scholarship of community-engaged energy and environmental planning, particularly in relation to the water-energy-food nexus and sustainability development.
